Incidentally, Match.com is the dating agency that has those TV ads in which people meet up, most notably the one where there's a man playing a ukulele in a railway station, serenading a woman who's on the opposite platform. The ad makes a welcome change to hyped-up commercials where outrageous claims are made.

He's a down-to-earth fellow who is somewhat understated, and he's got a remarkable musical talent for composing music on-the-fly in the style of the bards of old. He probably busks with that ukulele but today he's applying his musical skill in a different direction, to impress the attractive woman who's just the other side of the railway lines. Bear in mind that in the story, he's making up the song in an ad-lib style. It doesn't have to be perfect.

The song lyrics go something like this...

"Girl on the platform smile,
The best smile he's seen in a while.
She must have been about 26, ...28
And her skin looked really really really great!
She was a natural blonde...
She wasn't a natural blonde.
But that's what made him fond
Of her..."

At that moment a train goes past, and the view across the tracks is obscured. But she's decided she would like to find out more about him, so she makes a quick move across the railway bridge and just as he's about to resume his serenade, she appears right next to him. Could be a relationship in the making? The audience is left wondering. However, Here's the dating site and you can see if you have any luck with your own relationship, which could form in a style which could just happen.

Looking at other reviews about the ad, not everyone likes it. Maybe they can't see the subtle style to it, the concept that a talent for live descriptive lyric creation is quite attractive, and that the world has people who might like to get to know each other because of their own merits.
